They bring new meaning to the words arrogant and self-indulgence. However, compared to other vampires in the Blood Destiny world (to which they are similar in many ways: rich, well dressed, superior to humans, etc.) they stand out for the very dark, baser side of their natures. Also, the total disregard for life they display makes we wonder why they were changed in the first place. Neither appear to meet the standards the Vampire Council holds everyone to.
Thinking further on this change issue. Maybe they were changed before the standard was put into place. Have to go back and check on thier ages. Heavens knows, there were plenty other vampires with the same mind set.
I don't remember their ages being stated, they didn't even merit an entry in the glossary ... lol. Basically I thought of them as an endemic example of rot set into the vampiric community ... of course I could be accused (justifiably) of being a bit biased against those that treat others like dirt.
