Thoughts on the three Mighty

We never learned who Lissa's mothers parents are. Kyler & Cleo make a comment after they've met Lissa that Griffin never went Looking for who her maternal grandparents are because the Bright & Dark Elemaiya war so much with each other they probably weren't alive. That does not mean they aren't still alive. Hell, Griffins wrong most of the time! Elemaiya are immortals so Lissas maternal grandparents could have been having children spanning hundreds of years of time (either together or with another humanoid or Elemaiyan) making it possible for Ashe to still be Lissas great uncle despite his being younger than her.
I always thought that the Mighty that came to kill Friesianna and her gang after they tortured Narissa was The Mighty Heart because someone that is sensetive in the matters of the heart would be quite horrified by torture. For example, Lissa is ruled mostly by her heart and that is why she wants to kill Solar Red guys, because they torture people. I'm not suggesting that Lissa is the Mighty Heart by making this comparison.
I also have wondered if Nissa is The Mighty Heart. Its a woman that snaps at Griffin to get his ass back in time to save his daughter and children saying that now (after Wyatt's death) maybe he has a little experience of what he's handed out to others. Nissa would be pissed at Griffin knowing what he did to her mother and to her mate, Toff. Also, Narissa would also have been related to her through Lissa. Obviously age wouldn't matter as the Mighty should be able to travel the timeline whenever. Also, she protects Reah, who is the mate of her 3 brothers. I also find it interesting that other than in Blood Reunion where were introduced to Nissa, she makes no other appearances other than very brief ones in all of the High Demon Series though all her other siblings are frequent and very involved characters. Just a theory though. It could be that we've not yet been introduced to the Mighty Heart & Mind yet and all of this conjecture on our part is bullshit!! Ha ha!

So true! I think someone mentioned Connie said none of Lissa's children or grand children would be Mighty's, but I could be wrong.

Ok, So to add to our Three mighty discussion, here is Connie's subtledemon.com series God Wars page intro she has.

subtledemon.com/booksgwseries.html

Introduction to the God Wars series (quote from Destroyer, by Connie Suttle, © 2012):

"Yes. Well, do you know the Legend of the Three?" Griffin asked Ashe.

"No."

"It goes like this—in the beginning, the One created the Three. Only the One was more powerful than the Three. They were named Wisdom, Strength and Love. Those Three are more commonly known as the Mighty Mind, the Mighty Hand and the Mighty Heart." Griffin's eyes became unfocused as he gazed into the distance. Ashe watched him carefully—he imagined he might hear something few had ever heard before. "Eventually," Griffin continued, "others were made, with varying degrees of power, who served under the One and the Three. The worlds were made, both Light and Dark, and those worlds were populated with all manner of races and creatures." Griffin's fingers tapped his knees unconsciously as Ashe watched.

"What happened?" Ashe prompted Griffin, who'd fallen silent again.

"One day, the One and the Three discovered that a blight had infected their ranks," Griffin blew out a breath. "Some at many levels of power had banded together and turned against them, seeking to destroy what had been created. The Three were given the task of pursuing the rogues—those Destroyers—and finding a way to turn them back to the Light or devising a way to eliminate them. Not an easy thing to do, since the ones they hunted were not only immortal and powerful, but were recruiting allies among the created races. The Three began to choose their armies carefully—part of their duty is to seek out and right many wrongs in their pursuit of the invasive evil."

"Is that true?" Ashe blinked at Griffin.

"Yes. There is another tale associated with that one, but it is something I feel you must discover for yourself."

"What has all that to do with Changing What Was?"

"Only one of the Three will be gifted with Changing What Was. It is something the One allows sparingly, as it is quite rare. None know which of the Three will have it, when they appear."

"You make it sound as if they don't exist, yet, when you already said they do." Ashe followed the logic.

"Caught that, did you?" Griffin chuckled. "Good job. Should have known the Ir'Indicti would figure that out. As gods, the Three can't interfere. But there's a way around that rule. If they're reborn into a created race—as one of them, they can interfere all they want. And there are ways of becoming immortal if they're born mortal, as you well know. The problem with all that is, they may be vulnerable. Their enemies may be looking for them, to destroy them in their new forms and keep them from their duty. When all Three come together in their new existence, it means the God Wars are imminent. That's not a good thing, young one."

So, the part i am interested in above, is "They are reborn into a created race=as one of the, they can interfere all they want. And there are ways of becoming immortal if they're born mortal, as you know."

I am thinking the Blood Double blurb we received through Connie/Joe's February Newsletter, is actually the mighty heart. Also the other Blood Double blurb we see with Gavin and the point of veiw person NOT wanting to call Gavin "sire" may point to one of those ways the mighty heart (if it is her), becomes immortal. In this case, a vampire.

My thoughts exactly as well, though it doesn't outright say the character mentioned is female the speech comes across that way to me. And id imagine given the whole series began with Vampires at least one of the Mightys may be one :)

You know I've thought about it but what do we really know about Kiarra, she seems involved on many levels and seems to have the right kind of personality. What do you think is a possibility that she may turn out to be the Mighty Heart? I know so far she doesn't have the power but she could come into it after some future event, look at Lissa and Reah both died or came close to death before they come into their power or really became aware of it. As for age look at Renegar he has to be over three hundred before he became a nameless one, no where does it say the Mighty's come right into their power like Ashe did. Anyway that's my argument for the possibility and it seems like the kind of curve ball Connie would throw into her books.

"You can call me Love," she'd snapped. "And a greater amount of irony surrounds that name than you can possibly imagine." Wlodek had looked up, then, blinking as the woman disappeared.

I have a hard time thinking that Kiarra could get to this point, but I suppose anything is possible.

And I do want to see some velociraptor shifting in the God Wars if possible. :)
