Who was/is worse? Tony or Nori?

Ok,

Here's our chance to bash the old Tony (before he became a vampire), and Nori.

Who was worse?

Tony:

- While he worked for the US government, he treated Lissa similar to how Nori treats her now.

- Both treated Lissa as a weapon first and then as a desirable woman.

- I see Nori as much more "needy" of Lissa's attention that Tony in the past did.

- I don't see Tony putting Lissa in danger any more. Possibly because she is now in authority over him and its his job to keep her secure?

- Nori, even though he is her mate, he still puts his job ahead of Lissa inspite of when she was pregnant.

Bottom line, I really hope Nori gets a reality wakeup!

So what do other people think? So far I say Nori was worse overall, but he has time yet to change and prove himself.

Agree that Nori is worse.

a) Tony fell for her first and she erased that with compulsion.

b) Tony made a HUGE mistake. And he didn't realize until he got caught. BUT - I think he genuinely realized that he was wrong and straitened out his priorities, even after he became vampire. He was the one willing to go to her when she was depressed.

c) Nori doesn't seem to take any ownership of his mistakes. As a matter of fact, he even said that he didn't realize that she was that weak, but there was a complete lack of remorse. Rather, her usefulness to him grew because he realized what she could do even when she was that ill/tired.

I really don't have any idea why the M'Fiyah manifested with Nori. I think Lissa was so wounded by the deal with Merrill that she assumes that if M'Fiyah exists she needs to take it immediately.

IDK - but I'm strongly in the pro-Tony camp. Nor - not so much!

Okay, my turn to play Devil's Advocate. Let's take a look at the what's asked for Tony pre vamp vs. Norian.

1) Withholding information - both of them hold secrets so tight they squeak ... tie.

2) Ownership of mistakes - you know, I can't honestly recall either owning up to a mistake ... tie.

3) Treatment of Lissa

Tony
- Willful violation of Lissa via Larry "the Lizard" x 2.
- 6 counts of attempted murder via Lissa's blood.
- Treated her like an employee on numerous occasions.
- Bugged her luggage.
- Planned to kidnap her from Merrill's.

Norian
- Treated Lissa like a useful tool on numerous occasions.
- Being a total a**hat

Sorry but I have to chalk this up to Tony being the bigger sleaze here.

4) Job over relationship - both of them have planet sized blinders ... tie.

Even though it is a tight race (and Norian still has time to screw up by the numbers) I have to call Tony the bigger sleaze bag.

I have to agree with Larry. Historically at this time Tony pre-vamp was much worse than Norian.
Unfortunately, Nori still hasn't changed as far as I can tell, so he may come in for a tie later.

I agree that Tony (pre-vampire) betrayed Lisa more with the taking of blood than whatever Nori did. The bugging of her luggage by Tony I thought might be in response to her being kidnapped before the challenge (Winkler and Kellee's father). But then Tony was going to kidnap her when he was looking for her in England with his brother. That also was worse than whatever Nori did.

But, I like Tony as a person better than I like Nori.

In Demon Lost, a quote that I think sums up Nori's lack of sympathy or understanding of people when Reah woke up in the cell:

"I forgot to tell you, her records say she's slightly claustrophobic"

Maybe its because I think Tony could change but Nori cannot.
