My thinking is that now that she is coming to terms with what she is, there are some things that need to be dealt with on Le-Ath Veronis, Campaiaa and Avendor. I am really looking forward to that shit Teeg getting brought to heel. Would love for Cheedas to be reconciled with Lissa soon. Garde... he showed up to support, but has he learned anything?
But that still leaves a lot of loose ends on Earth in that earlier time period.
.....Maybe, as unlikely as it may be as she was about too kill herself her Sire Bond finally kicked in in some capacity and Gavin saved her. He's hardly gentle about things and barelling into a wall sounds about right lol.
But, i think you guys are right and Kal is the likely saviour as he would have felt her power signature.
And the most unlikely of all that is in the back of my mind, Kay/Kalia? Huuuuugely unlikely but she has two timelines in her mind perhaps the older more lucid version felt the changing timeline and was able to help. Doubtful due to Ashes barrier and her current state though.
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Or mebbe The One slammed the door on her and dumped her in the palace to straighten out Lissa's household mess?
My you all have given me much to consider. I completely missed the Thurlow bit and it's possible implications, but I think that Hank & Jaysen are acting more Norian-like than Thurlow-like (no I don't think either are Norian, just that their behaviour towards Breanne leaves a bit to be desired). Also at the end when she was "saved" Breanne took a nasty bump to the head; the ones we know care about her could probably have avoided that, so I'm thinking it was either someone who doesn't care about Breanne personally but who needs for her to continue fighting, or somehow newly come into extreme power and so lacking full control over it.
(and Alfred, I'm very glad that Breanne brought Opal back.)
