Frazzled I think in this case originally the god wars were to finish on book 4 blood love and I think connie only decided to extend the series part way through blood love so she hadn't got the same lead time she normally has with this book so we cam expect the release date to be more fluid than usual
Agreed Larry, Blood Finale I think from a few clues dropped during the writing of Blood Love was as much a surprise to Connie as to us. Sometimes a book just needs to be written and Connie listens to her characters. I often have to wait at least a year for most of my favorite authors so I will take Finale when it chooses to arrive.
Yeah kellilee I am afraid connie announced back in the middle of November she was pushing back the release date. I think Blood Finale was a bit unplanned in that I think the last book started to become a lot bigger so connie decided to split it and rework the second half so she wasn't as far forward with the project when she first announced the initial release date. I am sure like the rest of us you would prefere a book our goddess Connie is happy with than one she has rushed and isn't . Besides she's also had these other anthology books on the boil so to speak plus she's starting to work on the "prequel" Saa Thalar series' first book Blood and Vengance ( hope that's the correct title having a bit of brain block) so I think she's entitled to some leeway in release dates as I don't really know any other authors who produce books so prodigiously. Anyway knowing Connie we will probably get the book earlier as in the main she tends to be pessimistic with her release dates .
