I reread Vendetta today and have to say, Wlodek is just plain out of control, he is venturing into the realm of megalomania. If I were the Grand Master I would be sending a get off your high horse and come back to Earth missive, with a side of protecting the race via pissing off every other semi-human race is generally a very bad idea.

Then I would deliver it at high noon by kidnapping him, stuffing him in a coffin, taping the missive to his chest, nailing the coffin shut, then leaving it in the middle of an open field.
