well I have to say connie another fantastic book you've done it again
And no I'm not gonna give any spoilers less than 12 hrs after getting the book I stayed up all night to read it
It is a good cap to the series. What threads were not quite resolved are threads that play into the God Wars.
Warning: Spoiler!
I loved that Kifirin got taken to the woodshed in a figurative sense, and that the Dark Realm was being rebuilt. I was kind of hoping that we would see some Lifegiver action from Reah, but maybe we will later.
If the gravity of the situation were not so heavy, the idea of a Thifilatha stalking around in the Elven Lands would have me rolling in laughter.

I agree with Alfred and Robby, a very well done finish to a good series.
Warning: Spoiler!
So, for those who Stayed up late reading like Robby and I, here is some initial thoughts:
Mates: So Kevis and Edward did become mates as suspected per snippets.
Interesting the final full addition of Astralan and Corolan. I know we talked
about them being possible mates, but I was never sure.
I really enjoyed Edward as a mate. I believe he was really there supportively and emotionally
for her. He and Nefirgar are the top favorite Reah mates for me.
Then comes Ry and Auri, Astralan, Kevis, Farzi, Nenzi, and Corolan as decent mates.
I am still not sure about Zendeval as a mate, although he did have twenty five thousand years to
get straightened out.
On Tory, he still came off as immature to me towards the end. However, Reah having a big heart, gave him the option to become a wedded mate with the others.
On the Mighty Heart, Yea for the mighty heart! another add on to the mighty heart saving the three snake men.
Emotion healing for Reah: I think she is on the road to recovery. She has a ways to go from what I see and not everything as I would like (the mute left on her daughters). However, she definitely is breaking out of and getting some joy out of life now.
On Bel, I noted I was almost at the end of the book, when it was finally explained what happened to Bel. I was really devastated for Bel and Reah. However, since he is getting another rebirth similar to Wyatt, and also the the fact it was for the best considering the state the controller left him, I was content.
I will probably comment further as I reread the book again. I ran through the book so fast! Now I can go back and try picking up all the subtle Connie nuances.
I am sooooo curious to see what Reah's role is going to be in the God Wars.
I was also so happy to see an ending that didn't make me cry (seriously, I ended more books in this series crying than any other series... and I'm usually not a cryer).
I still want to kick a few people, but I love the new additions. And I was happy with the end snippet for Lissa also.
