New spammer counter-measures are in place … captcha removed. Because spammers are so tenacious I am now moderating the first few posts. This should eliminate the Spam you see, for the new non-spammers you have my apologies.

No, that would require buying top end BB software, honestly I don't see a need or a viable return on that type of investment at this point.

I don't suppose there is a PM notification feature that will let you know when you log in that you have mail?

also a member chat/IM app would be nice

When logged into the board look at Private Messages (top right - directly right of your avatar / name), if you have a PM or more it will show how many you have that have not been read.

Chat / IM is not free and there are Term of Service issues to be carefully avoided … I am looking for a something that is not a horrible implementation or costs a fortune.
