Even if I knew my numerous mates had had their affection and love muted for 25 years I don't think I could just let go og the anger, hurt and resentment. We went through a similar situation with whether to forgive Tory. Despite knowing he wasn't in contol or at fault those feelings don't go away. Matters of the heart rarely are rational.
Could you just forgive and forget after learning it was Kifirins involovement that caused your many mates to neglect and forget for the last 25 years?

I agree, and I think in Demon's revenge she mentioned something in regarding Tony and not being able to forgive right away. So I think it will be the same for her other missing mates. Ry not so much since he was newer and actually more there for her and her daughters.

I am thinking Ry missed the whole mute button action because he didn't rise to the mate level until she walked out of her cage on Kifirin and took on that last quest. He was just her brother in law and the kid's uncle up to that point. He was certainly not in a position to threaten Kifirin's plan for her.

Kifirin's daddy needs to take his scaly ass out behind the woodshed and introduce it to the board of education.

That's is soooo true about Kirifin. I really don't think he has learned his lesson yet.

I just don't think I could turn that anger off. 25 years is a long time. While they may not have necessarily been responsible, it doesn't change the history that she's experienced with them. At the very least, they need to give her some time to make the adjustment. You want to believe that at least one of them would have loved her enough to be immune to Kifirin's meddling.
