Storyline

So one thing that is really bothering me is Kifirin's potential reaction to his punishment. I have loved in this series how Dark and Light was not synonymous with good and evil. However, I am concerned that Kifirin may strike back or allow his ego to rule his actions, rather than accepting that he was already acting far above his natural capacity and knowledge base (see latest post on subtledemon blog). I am afraid of the damage he could cause.

Did anyone else have this thought? Or have any ideas about what might mitigate Kifirin's bad responses?

Also - to those who have said that the High Demons are whiny. I couldn't agree more. I was pretty angry at Tory after all that Reah has been through that he could still be so selfish, yet wish for all the benefits. What a difik!

He seems pretty resentful of his new boss the "Darkest Star". It may just be he slacks off on doing an order.. kinda like Gaurde did back in Blood Queen when told to go south to check on enemies. I wonder where Guarde got that trait. HA!

If you haven't read it already go to Connie's subtledemon blog she has posted a list of the hierarchy of the gods and a passage that is either a snippet from the god wars series explaining how Kifrin first became The Lord of the dark realm or really good explanation from connie I can't make up my mind which. Of course this could also easily fit in to the sarr thalarr series as that is involved in the beginnings of the Le-Ath veronis universe

Just had another thought, I wonder if a god can be demoted as Kifrin was can they be promoted to a higher hierarchy . oh my connie you don't half set the cat amongst the pigeons at times

Kirifin is a bit of a whiney god. Though from Connie's recent hierarchy chart and Dark Realm info, it sounds like he was the only one of that group who volunteered to work that realm even though he was a nameless at the time. Will he become one of the rogue God's? Possible! However, the leash on that is getting back with Lissa in 200 years she specified. If he really wants her back, he will need to stay on the good side of the God's. That is just my thought though.
