When I was reading, I decided that Nick was a werewolf in his previous life -- that he was a werewolf before taking the drug. No inside knowledge to know this is true or not except that he had werewolf help in the first book.
Even though all their talents were different, I would guess Karathian for all of them. The source of the 'drug' was alien crashes(?). There were three of them and that the Russians had a different race's drug (that would be the Sirenali).
Now that I have typed that and we know that Cori was/is Karathian Witch / Larentii (because the book told us so), I wonder why the Karathians would need a spaceship? Can't they all fold space? They are also very long lived so they would not need the drug to survive.
Could be, although the wolves do have human friends.

I wonder who "SHE" is that Matt and Opal are talking about... they say that they were told to handle it... I wonder if it is Breanne they are talking about. I would love to see more of her and the others including Lissa. And I wonder if the Cloud Books are in the same time line as the Finder books. it would be neat to see them intersect at some point. Oh and if they can bring the others fwd in time that were killed in the other books... Maybe on a different planet. so they can interact with Cori and Ilya.
