The following types of documents are recognized - Kindle (.AZW), Text (.TXT), Unprotected Mobipocket (.MOBI, .PRC).
This guide is intended only to help, you are still 100% responsible for anything you do to your kindle and / or other electronic device(s).
Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.
Click on your Kindle there and you will see the Email address for the device.
In order to send an Email to your Kindle with the book as an attachment,
your normal Email address needs to have been registered for this on Amazon.com
You can register an Email address under Settings on the aforementioned Page.
After that you send an email with the attached file to Tanya....@kindle.com.
If you put convert in the subject the attached file will be converted to azw ( Kindle eBook format).
Meaning Amazon will convert other formats (Text, PDF, mobi etc.) into the Kindle format.
Which will make it easier to read those files, well Amazon says so. Take it with a pinch of salt since I haven't tried it
It can take a few minutes before you can download the book from Amazon by synchronizing your Kindle.
Merry Christmas

The Kindle keyboard does have USB, simply unplug the USB cable from the charger plug then, plug the USB cable into your computer. If you are not using the original cable you can pick one up for $1.43
