I guess the thing that occurred to me while reading is how the big 5 don't seem to share information with each other. Bree being the worst offender, with Zaria (though not one of the big 5) coming in a close second. Maybe is because Lissa is the only God that mortal form has a permanent presence in the universe, that she isn't "in the know" on things. I would think if they would share information on what each knows and what they are working on, things would go much better.
Got it on my mind to change my ways, but I don't think I can be anything other than me.
- The Pretty Reckless "Light Me Up"
I think the Mighty are pulling back, as they did in the past, in order to allow others to grow into leadership roles. I believe the mighty look towards the longer game and leave the day to day minutia to others. Lissa has her commitment to the original Mighty to keep, so as a lesser member of the Mighty she is also involved in the day to day ruling. As for the keeping of secrets ... come on Charles is the original need to know guru ... and far as he's concerned no one else needs to know ... lol.
Zaria may actually displace "The One", with all her innate power and the Library's knowledge to back her up I could see it happening. (This is my conjecture only ... don't read anything else into it.)
Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.
