My reasoning is that, to date, we have specifically seen the elevation to "god" by written invitation to all except Lissa & Hank. I think the elevation to "Mighty" is one of those offers you can't refuse.
I don't agree that the Mighty can call back the power given to other gods ... otherwise Wisdom and Love wouldn't have had to drain the rogues to recharge.
But, I don't write the books so I freely admit that I can be wrong.
What did you think of all the timing Zaria had to line up to make things turn out? How about Vardil & V'ili's appointment with justice?

Vardil and Villi got off way to easy, but it was good to see them taken out. With all the time line shenanigans I am a little disappointed we didn't get to see Norian die a third time. Seriously, at least once a series would be good. LOL. Kidding (mostly)
Was this the end of first ordinance? The plot was buttoned up for the series, unless I missed something. Even Illya finally caught a clue. I'm sure we'll see most of them again though, in other series.
Tracking them through the timeline was genius. No need to locate them if she just followed them to a point in the timeline that ending them wouldn't be interference. I also loved that she swiped all those orbs under Liron's nose.
WOW! I will read again before commenting too much.
I really wanted Vardil and V'ili to die a horrible death. either by one of our hero's hands or by their own miss-doings. like firing a Ranos cannon while cloaked (large stealth device) cause some kind of imbalance and the ship implodes killing them or something like that.
Not sure how I felt about the happy ending at the end. It reminds me too much of Twilight's fight at the end...
I thought it was about time the good guys started using the timeline to do good things (besides just plucking future Saa Thalaar from death)
Got it on my mind to change my ways, but I don't think I can be anything other than me.
- The Pretty Reckless "Light Me Up"
Did anyone else feel that one of the Mighty was lacking representation? I saw one place he might have thrown in a bit but, I can't say for certain who provided the hail storm .

To be fair, none of them really did anything except talk and give Zaria permission to fix it. The most active thing was Ashe giving refuge under his shield. Charles has always been more behind the scenes, even in God wars it was Bree and Ashe that did the most.
One of my concerns is I hope Zaria doesn't play a major role in the next, or any of, the rest of the Lexsi books. As far as the happy ending I was expecting it for the most part, too many people died for it to stand without being fixed.
