Why are you assuming that Lissa was dead? It was said that she was given the strength (and possibly help) to bring her mist particles back together. Since she never "died" when she blew her own particles apart Lissa may not have been dead, she may have merely passed out (the same as when she fled Rene's).

I do think she died. When Kifirin and Lissa were arguing after Lissa met Kifirin at the volcano, Kifirin states that he felt her die and that her sacrifice brought him out of his sleep. (Kindle loc 1369 - 28% - Blood Queen)

Mostly dead is partly alive ... okay bad Princess Bride reference but it makes my point.

I feel like this argument is going no where, it doesn't matter whether Lissa was truly dead or not. Lissa was brought back more powerful than ever, something that couldn't happen without some help, and kicks some serious ass :)

Yeah, I thought there was a definite reference somewhere that stated outright that she was dead. Best I could find was in Blood Queen Where Belen says "Her life was given back to her without going through the rebirth." (Kindle Location 1251)

Which I still think says she was definitively dead and then resurrected. Though splitting hairs on this probably makes little difference.

I appreciate the list you've compiled on things that (may) have been done by the Mighty Heart. Other clues that I think are important are her saying "I love you" to Ashe when he sees her for the first time at the end of Shadowed. (Makes me think he is related, seemed motherly in affections.) Do we know anything about Rabis' child through whom Ashe is his grandson? (And remind me - Rabis is Lissa's....uncle???)

Actually, the one who says "I love you" is not the "bright lady" who we think is the Mighty heart through the gate. Look at the scene again. You will see two ladies through the gate. The bright lady that the agent runs to. Then the dark hard lady that says I love you to Ashe. The dark hair is the lady Ashe is with at the end of Destroyer series as his assumed love.
