So as well as Love, Strength, and Widsom we may have Hate, Greed, and Disco? Maybe the sirenali were not originally created to be able to hide but that ability evolved over time - survival of those best able to hide.

Disco? What is wrong with Disco, why do you think it is evil? Bad experience?

In any case I do not consider the Larentii evil.
But considering all the gifts they received from Love(their creator), they could have put those to better use.
Even than the planet Kifirin was attacked, and their asses were in danger, did they directly fight the enemy?
The answer is no. Lissa had to "sacrifice" herself to save them all.
After all if the balance had fallen that would have had consequences for the Larentii to.
They call it no-interference - I call it lethargy and bullshit.
