I may start a thread for those, they are too close to rants ... lol. That way people that don't want to delve that deep into my thoughts on the books would not be subjected to them. That kind of thought bomb can kill good threads (-:

I think Larry is correct in his thought process. But I also think Norian will learn from his mistakes... Even as horrific as some mistakes are... I am still hopeful that he will learn! Compassion would be nice!

This comment is not only concerning Norian. Did not know which topic it might go in. I think Norian lost part of his soul after causing the death of Reah's baby. As bad as Norian is, I was shocked at the actions and words of Reah's mates or suitors. Lendill actually stated that others were treated just as bad as Reah, so what was the problem? Or the others telling Reah essentially to suck it up and come be with them. Did they actually believe the BS they were handing her?? Just start new today as if nothing had ever happended? Actions speak louder than words, so her mates are looking very despicable. Only her two favorite snake men have never hurt her in any way. Maybe Wylend, although he took her to the resturant she never wanted to see again. On second thought strike Wylend off too, he did spring his male lovers on Reah out of the blue. Regardless of the reason, even Auri wasn't there when she desperately needed him. Please let me know your thoughts on this subject.

I think more than a few of Pony's buttons got hammered here ... okay, here's my response.

Auri - Sorry I don't agree on bashing him, Auri has proven himself to be very reliable, when the Saa Thalarr don't have him on assignment he is there for Reah. Part of reliability is meeting your obligations and spawn hunting is one of his obligations.

Wylend - I see your point on Desh number one, I think the confrontation was necessary, but it should not have been a surprise. As for his lovers I will have to disagree, all four showed nothing but support for Reah, which was sadly lacking up to that point. I don't think Reah would have been willing to meet them in the near future which would deprive her of much needed support.

Norian & Lendill - rant on I can't defend either ... I can see why but I cannot defend them in any manner.

Tory - I think Garde said it best ... "You're here. Reah isn't."
