At a guess, it sounds likely that Reah is now at EastStar Groves, cousin to SouthStar Groves - the gishi fruit groves on Avendor where the residents of Star Cove ended up. Maybe as a place to hide out, maybe as a place to recover in peace. From Edward's apparent reaction, I would say it's very likely he does become another mate, but hopefully a good one.
Between this and the other snippets released, I'd guess Reah's recovery is part therapy and part work at the gishi groves (where I bet money Ashe can keep anyone from getting in.) Of course, Reah being Reah, I suspect she will immediately know things to make the groves fantastically better, causing her and Edward to buddy up.
