Actually, I was hoping to get more of Ash meeting his dark haired mate. We just see her at the end when he is older. It was fun to see the mention of the red car Connie mentioned from her face book. Maybe have that be a one off story.
A nice touch indeed, and perhaps it gives us a precedent for Lissa not recognizing an Elemaiya straight off, which potentially (crossing threads here) leaves the question of Reah's parentage wide open.
