Strange thing: Wasn't the Sirenalis power, to obsess people, removed by Breanne or the others after the god wars?

I think that Breanne only promised to take the obsession power after their planet was remade. In the time line I wonder where Finder's books are. we know they are after the god wars but are they in line with the Cloud books ?
The princess did request that the ability to create obsessions be removed, however we have seen that due to bending time these little roadblocks can be worked around. What is removed from now forward … still exists in the past and can be brought to the future by bringing forward someone (bypassing the event that removes the power). Also we don't know if that event has occurred yet .

First, got to say love Connie's books and this site is great. Many post gives me lots to think about. On that note, I gotta throw my 2 cents in here...would the removal even work on these Sirenilas (sp?) since they are not born to that race but rather turned using the drug? Kind of like how all vampires, no matter who turns them have fangs and claws...would all turned Sirenilas have the original traits and not modified ones since the changes aren't being passed on by their parents DNA?
