RKET thanks for the explanation. This is my first series. I am about to start blood destiny now. I guess i should have started that first. But in this book Lissa's father is Brent Arden or something like that. Is he the same person?

Most certainly the same person it's his pre Saa Thalarr name. His real name is Breten Arden aka Griffen aka The Oracle aka the Royal B*****d (actually works two ways) aka the compulsive meddler aka the crappy father....... And the list goes on....

Have fun and enjoy the series (BTW what is the plural of series ? Serieses sounds a little weird!)
And read it in the proper order. subtledemon.com/bibliography.php
I recommend this as the proper reading order.
You could drop the Saa Talar books since they tell the story before Lissa shows up.
I advce against reading them before Lissas story, it would revel to much, and ruin the story for you.

Seattle Elementals is completely off-canon and should be read seperately.

The internet has proven that this is not true."

Series is both a singular and a plural form. When it has the singular sense of "one set," it takes a singular verb, even when series is followed by of and a plural noun: A series of lectures is scheduled.

Don't hold back on Griffin … tell us how you really feel … lol.

Griffin has not shown himself in a good light, maybe Quin can redeem him … but ye gods that's a lot of redemption.

Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.

Started Lissa's story, Blood Wager. So far so good. I am keeping a wary eye out for Griffin now.
