If this is the end of the series I am disappointed that there was no mention of Feryis until the end. Last we know is that Amlis asked to find a wife. I thought for sure now that Quinn can have babies we would see something about them interacting. It kind of just leaves us hanging. And the next series starts 13 years. Later? That is a long time without anything happening. I didn't think the hea finalized everything.
While this is probably the end of the First Ordinance story arc ... There are still the Saa Thalarr series, the Latter Day Demon series, and the BlackWing Pirates series to add to the tale, As we all know these series do tend to run into one another with high frequency. Considering that the characters live much longer than normal humans thirteen years is a drop in the bucket, look at how long Lissa tossed Kifirin out for.
Amlis, I still think he ganked any chance with Quin, but I can see him getting his own book ... Saa Thalarr anyone? (If Griffin can get in ... anyone can get in.)

It's funny when Griffin trumps Saxom as the worst Saa Thalarr.
I agree there are a few more threads, but all the major ones are closed for that series, like Larry and JD said, there's plenty more series with overlap to tie those up.
Saxon was evil, Griffin was evil with family, that in my opinion, is worse. I realize Griffin is on Quins' list of projects so there may yet be redemption for him but ... /shrug.
