I really think there is a lot of over-thinking going on, KISS is you friend ...
The odds are the shining messenger is one of three people, the One, Ashe, or the Mighty Mind. He (specifically stated) can't be Bree since Bree is a She. Also since he is promising rewards to a Ko'Ahmari (just below the three) there are not many left that can give him something that he can't give himself. The rest is window dressing.
Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.
The three are messengers for the one ... assuming that a messenger is subservient or a derogatory title could be a mistake, look more towards actions and deeds than names and titles. Of course the facts will come out in the books, ours are but guesses ... with one no more or less valid than any other.

Valid point david the messenger could be a more senior Ko'Ahmari remember each of the levels below the 3 seem to have their own hierarchy of seniority.
@Larry
Thanks, you are absolutely right; I checked only the first meeting, Frebell and the shining one (the epilogue to Demon's Quest), and there no gender is marked. The second meeting (Li'Neruh and the shining one) is definitely a talk between two guys, besides there stands "The shining one shook HIS head"... Ashe acts openly already, so if Connie does not name names > the Mighty Mind?
@David
"Messenger": if one of the Three represents all three of them, how will he be called?
Hmmm, derogatory never entered my mind, I was thinking rank/subservient.
Still, their titles are mighty, their aspect are Love, Strength and Wisdom.
They may be messengers to the one, but they still outrank everyone else.
My manager at work sends me messages passed down from the director.
To the director that makes him a messenger/subservient, but he is boss to me.
I submit its more simple for it to be a messenger from the three than hidden beneath misleading titles.
Lissa also told us that Ashe likes to send her and others to do things rather than do it himself, it's not as if my theory doesn't have any confirmed precedent.
Although I will admit yours is possible, I already stated in my first post on this discussion that I was biased and quite sure I could be wrong. I know we won't know for sure until Connie tells us. Either way its fun to shake out the possibilities.
