Actually, I don't think that would be half bad if Connie's books get a following like Star Trek. The aliens in this world are just as cool as Star Trek. So, would be called Connies? Suttleites? Bloodites? Veronites?
Anyway, I loved the book and really hope the three new blood books (different view point mentioned) maybe continues where Reunion left off.
I wonder why all the royal family didn't have protection Jewels? what good being Queen of a planet if you can have all the protection money can buy, especially since her mate Shadow makes them...
I was also rooting for Kifirin or one of the Twins also to be the father, but Gavin was her first mate and he has come a long ways as a mate since they were first mated, so I guess I am ok with it.
the whole mind speech muting was kinda weird, especially between Lissa and Nissa. what mother would go for only seeing or talking to her daughter one day a month? yes, and interplanetary cell phones... why not.

Not to judge (I'm the last one that should be pointing the finger), but I noticed the editing was lacking a little in this book. I noticed a lot of "you" instead of "your" being used... just saying

If Kifirin had interfered, then Tory would not have transformed into his Thifilathi. Since Tory did transform, Lissa was not in any danger that only Kifirin could handle. (IMHO)
