I knew she was preggers I had a suspicion at the first headache and worn down ness but I was also thinking maybe she just needs to go to energy but when she fainted that did it I knew loved that idea too and the fact that she can have more in time is just great to me that means we will get more from Lissa and the crew in future books if not another BD book or 3
I also love the idea of continuing with the kids LA Banks did that and it was great we lost her b4 she got a chance to really get into it but it was such a treat just like this
Must first say my feelings on Gavin run hot and cold and I wonder why Lissa stills loves him. Think I would have kicked him under the bus long ago.
Totally agree with giugiu on why Nissa is being raised in Grey House? Understand the reason why, however with almost everyone able to fold time, why was she not allowed to go home (Lissa's) each night.
Also, if you cross Lissa and live, she can and will hold a grudge for a verrrry long time. (from experience I know somethings can not be forgiven). In Blood Reunion Lissa had not visited Grey house in 14 or 15 yrs, even for Nissa's magic evaluation. Lissa's betrayal by Grey House abolutely qualifies as a reason to hold onto a grudge. I was almost sorry when she finally agreed to vist Grey House in Blood Reunion.
I think the kids in Blood Reunion need some type of cell phone, email, etc. It seems that Nissa wanted mindspeech to talk to her Mom (Lissa) before it was unblocked. Also Toff wanted to be able to talk to Nissa but there did not seem an easy way to do it.
I suspect the M'Fiyah has quite a bit to do with why Lissa puts up with all the crap shoveled her way, although I do have to say Gavin has improved quite a bit since Kifirin removed his jealousy. I realize Lissa can now mute or destroy M'Fiyah but since she knows first hand the pain that can cause, thanks Merrill, and her nature to protect her people and her loves I doubt she would willingly give any of them up.
As for Nissa I think Glendes is still a bit too locked into tradition and maybe thinking about security. Although I think the security at Lissa's palace might be better than Grey Houses. All that said I agree Nissa should spend more time with her sibs and mother.
