Storyline

Judging from the snippets they are all from the start of the book and obviously preparing for war. I am still trying to work out how the three could be coming back they must be able to co exist at the same time as the one in some fashion and it wouldn't surprise me if from this point on they will only act covertly and will only be felt by their actions. One thing that does come to mind however they are needed for certain action to happen that have already occurred. Yes I know certain parts of the past have been altered/ affected by the rouge gods, and I think it would take the power of the one to correct or neutralise the effects but the three or at least Ashe and Brea are needed to finish tasks started. Oh lord look I'm rambling and going in circles

Welcome to the wonderful world of time travel ... one minor change can have cataclysmic effects on the "future" ...

A case could be made that Griffin was influenced by someone from the future to cause detrimental effects on our side ...

... or imagine if someone took out Griffin just after he brought Lissa forward.
... or was Norian adjusted to act like a total asshat.

The list is endless ... lol.

My Christmas gift list

OK, it seems we’ve all agreed that we will have „two Xmases, a Connie Xmas and the real Xmas“; so what about compiling a Christmas gift list? Summing up what I would like to read about in the Blood Finale:

1. The One becoming the Three again
2. More about the Mighty Mind
3. Garwin Wyatt’s reaction to Tybus
4. Tybus and Rhea?
5. Gavin and Bree?
6. Rhea dealing with Song and Serenade, Bree dealing with Hordace and Q’And/Q’Ind brothers
7. As we know from the snippet, Hank is preparing High Demons to do the job the race was created for - hunting Sirenali and other rogues; Torevik, will he improve his standing with Rhea? Garde and Kifirin, will they win back Lissa’s love in this war?
8. Will Jayd ever recompense Rhea for financially saving the planet?
9. Mind clouds, who placed and removed them?
10. Will Bree get pregnant, and who will be the father?
11. Who will be Opal’s mate?

Connie wrote in Facebook: “There will be a couple of books about Rhea’s youngest daughter, Alexsi”. Great; but what about other children, Travis and Trent, Garwin Wyatt, Bel, Glinda’s two girls? Even Rhea’s girls?

I was thinking it would be nice for Ryland to have another mate and Opal has been in my mind as a possible one mostly as i just love the two characters!

I do hope that Kifirin and Garde learn some humility and Lissa takes them back but i noticed in the last book when Reah took Lexsi to see Jayd he noted that Kifirin seemed to resent Hank. So not holding much hope that he's grown over the last few years

I assumed the mind cloud was removed by Charles but there's no indication of that just my assumption.

If like to see some epic grovelling from Ashe towards Bree (assuming they separate back too the three!) I think he genuinely has feelings for her now he's not so hung up on Kay.

@Bethan, I can see Opal with Ry.. He's a fun guy and he would definitely appreciate her velociraptor self! But I'm leaning towards Ildevar for some reason. I think their predators would like each other.

Yes, Ashe has some kissing of body parts to attend to doesn't he! Of course that may be taken care of while they are The One. I'd like to think even though they are One they are still themselves somehow and they can somewhat separate their identities while working together.

Ye Gods … what a list. Well let see

1. I think that will happen, I can't see the One sticking around for a long time, although how many will remember that the One IS the Three?
2. You already have a lot of Charles' background … the major missing piece is when he realized he was the Might Mind.
3. Hmm … probably something along the line of "Where have you been all my life?".
4. Time will tell.
5. Personally I think the better question would be …. Angry Gavin or the Gavin that we could respect?
6. They can run … but they can't hide … cue evil laugh.
7. There's a lot of that men behaving like morons going on … I blame Mr. Murphy.
8. This one is easy … Nope … that would require acting honorably towards Reah.
9. This one could have a ton of answers … everyone keeps forgetting that Belen is NOT even close to the upper level of "Gods".
10. More "when" than "if" … with that many mates I would call it inevitable.
