Boy, things never are easy for Connie's protagonists. I suppose that's what makes the books so interesting and the characters so sympathetic.

I've always thought that both Lissa and Reah forgive far too easily, setting themselves up for even more heartache. Perhaps, especially in Reah's case, it's because they value themselves too little. I liked when Reah was out on her own, finding her own causes and taking care of herself. While it's nice for her mates to want to protect and take care of her, it seems that they have too little respect for her strength and her own wishes when they're around.
I'm hoping that Reah somehow can remove Tory's marks from her neck. He's never really been a worthy mate and now that she's pregnant with the twins (which I don't think she'll lose) she will have at least made a step toward saving the High Demon race. Without the marks, she presumably would be able to bear others' children and may even meet another (worthy) High Demon. In any case, Tory really would have to prove himself to get back in her life.
At any rate, Reah should make Wylend (and all her other mates) do some serious groveling AND prove their worth and show they respect her before she lets them back into her life, much less her bed.
P.S. Love that Reah now has her own Laurenti and Falchani, though she probably should guard her heart even against them.
Connie says on fb that some of the mates get their stuff together and some don't i wonder if Tory does because his thifilathi claimed reah and he has no control over it. i also think Wylend will just leave reah alone now, i think he will blame reah for alot that has happened

I also loved her hiatus it was so relaxing for her well not all of it but she got to not miserable for a while and that was great I think my fave person in this book was Flyer even tho he had a small part he was the ulti in kewl
