Most spells and wizard stuff doesn't work on High Demons. Some how that escaped me until now. I guess that means that Tory is just a tool. Damn.
It seems like all the males Thifilathis are seperate entities but I wonder if Glindaroks is the same as Reahs. We know little about Glindas Thifilatha.
Kifirin created the Dark Races, he is at a power level of the Nameless Ones. It has been stated that there are several levels higher than the Nameless Ones. High Demons may not be immune magic at the higher levels.
Tory is a fool, immature, and spoiled but, in my opinion, not a tool (yet).
Reah has expressed an interest in talking to his Thifilathi over talking to Tory, who knows we may see that.
Glinda's Thifilitha is more like the males than Reah's otherwise the males would not have been surprised at Reah's ability to talk and reason as Reah while in Thifilatha.

The problem with Tory being wammied into marriage is he owns a good percent of Leathveronis assets. SInce he didn't do a prenup, Lessa's planets is in for trouble. Kinda like cloudsong event.
I don't think it is the property that is the golden egg as much as it is the political legitimacy she and her father can bleed from Tory's relatives. It is not difficult to reduce / move physical holdings to minimize any impact.
