At the end of Destroyer book in the Legend of the Ir'Indicti Series, Ashe states he is the Mighty Hand.

These are just my opinions but I think Reah kept waking for one of two reasons, the first being that she was going over to the light side so the Dark Realm had less power over her and the second being that healing sleep was being used against her will and for the wrong reasons which may mean her natural immunity to power kicked in weakening and eventually woke her from the healing sleep, the only reason I think it's her immunity is because of the conversation she had with Ry about how her shield seemed to know when to cancel out power. As for Garwin I think it's to soon to make any guess on him but I hope he gets his mother's immunity to power and a Thifilathi form or his father's vampire nature with Reah's immunity.

That's a really compelling point, Eaglechild. Given that there are quite a few factors which could go either way. Reah herself, the baby, her mighty protector and the Larenti who have intervened more than once to save her.

Working your suggestion through regarding Reah moving to the Light side, does that mean she is/becomes more powerful than Kifirin? If so, that's a really interesting proposition especially given that everyone on the Dark side fears him - except Lissa. Will Reah use this power for good or punish those who have wronged her? For myself, I can't see her nature changing but interesting to mull over on the train in to work!

Griffin needs a good dose of STFU. I am sure the restriction technically ended, but very rarely has he meddled and not done more damage than good.

Remember that Lendil's daddy was after her to come see him? As Lendil's mate, I am betting she gets hooked up to the same power source that Lendil did, hence power from the Light side of the universe.

From what I can determine Light and Dark in this universe is not the same as good and evil, so I wonder why it is so important that Reah remains on the Dark side, surely it has to be more than Kifirin not wanting to lose control of her. I also note that Lissa is Kifirin's equal and is Garwin's grandmother. Reah is quarter high demon and in many respects more powerful than the full bloods, so Garwin too may be more powerful than his grandparents (even though he isn't a Mighty).
