So the Ra'ak weren't just holding him they did the actual splicing as well - thanks Robbietonk.
Thank you to both Larry and Robbie for the best laugh I have had in sooo long, and I gotta admit I did the same as Larry - the "l" got lost amongst the !!!l.
Sooooo...I downloaded the free "The Stroke of Midnight: A New Year's Anthology" after reading "Cloud Dust." Connie's contribution was: "GSW, Or How I Met My Mother." I have been banging my head against the walls at regular intervals since I got near the end of the story because it oh, so casually mentioned that Conner (the story is from her POV) was a writer of mysteries that involved a female sleuth and, oddly enough, said books were published under a pen name.
While it could be possible, I don't think Conner is Corinne. She already has enough grief to deal with as The Mouth and The Guardian … also, as Ilya is not mentioned in any of the latter time line books, concerning Conner, that would add doubt to that theory. I get the felling Corinne will not be letting Ilya out of her life.
Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.
Something I think everyone overlooked on her powers she sees the future so she new that she would be needed when she was needed. Implies this right from the first. When she new that guy was going to die. I also see this right about the time of Lisa or just after.just think about the Boise pack was lead by Davis.
