Who was/is worse? Tony or Nori?

Well, my entire comparison was based on Tony pre vamp (as specified), after becoming a vampire Tony became much more human ... funny how that works. Norian could continue down the road to being disowned (I think most women would dump him in a split nanosecond if he treated them like he does Lissa) or he could change ... we all know life shattering events can come hot and heavy in these books.

I think one of the main differences between Tony (before vampire) and Nori is that Tony had charm and a sense of humor at times while Nori seems to have very little of either.

Nori also might be more 'lovable' if he did not shape-shift into a very large King snake with deadly poison

We will have to see if Nori does change; there is possibility there since he has a good chance of being in a lot of the High Demon books.

Though Tony in Target (Legend of the Ir'Indicti Series -- book 3) I thought was very vampire-ish. He did ask for the information to give Ashe but was very abrupt with Ashe. Did not seem at all sympathetic. Tony seemed to be lot more human in Blood Queen when Lissa is transported 300 years in the future and before he remembered her.

I almost had to *sigh* and give in on the Tony/Nori argument, BUT based on the latest evidence (2 pages of Demon Revealed posted on the blog - if you haven't read it GO READ IT!)

I am docking Nori 2 points. 1) for claiming that the ASD owned Reah. Tony was at least smart enough to know that Lissa was ON LOAN, not owned by (only Wlodek made that mistake). 2) For not rgiving enough value to Reah's pain. If Karzac is pissed, that's a sure sign of a screwed up dude. And Tony at least tried to get Lissa to stay down after he weakened her.

(Yes, i am aware that he never should have weakened her in the first place!)

Well, point of order ... the evidence you are pointing to has not been released yet. So while the blurb indicts Norian the rest of the book could mitigate it (Tony is locked as pre vampire so he can be eclipsed).

Let's make sure I don't get jumped here ... I am NOT advocating Norian's position here ... I still hold with my previous comment.

6) Norian - Someone needs to teach that boy some empathy ... I suggest a M'Fiyah with a stone cold, iron plated bi***, that sends his worthless ass into the line of fire because it makes her job easier. Sorry I have no sympathy for someone that can't leave the job at the office. On him stealing her commitment to the Alliance ... any military with a member in that position would grant a serious promotion and grant her the choice of next duty station or EAOS (End of Active Obligated Service) so Norian's boss needs to smack him down.

On your #6 Karzac talked about doing it. However, being a healer, I don't see him actually giving Norian the needed empathy treatment or the Larentii doing it either. Maybe the Mighty will do it!

Well, I think you're splitting hairs on the evidence bit, seeing as those are the first 2 pages of a book and were put into public domain, and to your point, he can only get worse, because Tony is frozen, but I'll concede that point. :)

Regarding Nori's M'Fiyah - remember, the other one has to choose the M'Fiyah as well. Maybe no one else wants him, not even a woman of the description above!

I guess sometimes opinions are more based on intuition/feelings than facts. I still prefer Tony (and the snake part doesn't bother me).
