Right going to wade in with something that no one as yet seems to have mentioned yet. Bree for the three mighty seemed more concerned with "divorcing/ separating" Quinn from the orb and hinted that they knew how to stop/cure the the poison organism though that appeared to involve Quinn in some way. I can't help but feel that bree,Ashe and Charles possibly know more than they've let on.
Did anyone notice a possible link to the RD series with the injection of blood somehow laced with a drug that was about to be given to Cayetes at the end of the book. Now I know it's possibly a stretch but there really appeared to be some kind familiarity to it that rang like the RD drug.
Ok I have a question... if the resurection drug was used and is the same one from the cloud rd series why aren't the lizzard men taking it and killing off caytes like they did in the cloud series?
Ladydear - I'm not saying it was the same drug, but if it was, the "lizard men" wouldn't be able to find them even if they knew about them using the drug because of the "Serinali" they have with them

David- I kind of left the high demon mate out the base mate package - they have too many issues! lol! both Reah and Lissa kicked theirs to the curb a few times.
Tory and Guard were in the 2nd book briefly and I think Tory made a cameo in this one.

Robbytonk - There are definitely things going on that even the Mighty are figuring out as they go. I think Bree knows that Quin has a few things to do and doesn't want to interfere too much and effect the timeline. I think she is afraid to do anything with the Orb as it may kill or damage Quin, but at the same time the Orb needs to go.
one thing that does bother me is we haven't seen Charles - the Mighty Mind in any of the books yet.
Liron the child - Ashe says the child knows him, but Quin says he will only have brown wings and has a talent for art... So, is he special (like in a godling) or not... Quin can recognize power and didn't seem to see anything in him... very strange
It's also curious that the Larentii are seeming to take a more active role in things. (though Lissa did ask them to do most of what they did and she is kind of a mighty - "Hope")
