I thought Jayson sounded similar to Gravil Teeg in BT. His actions and words sounded like Teeg to me. Maybe Jayson is Teeg from a previous life. Lots of people seem to be reborn in the books so it is possible...
Bah I said that jayson could be it instead of Hank ages ago and no one thought it likely. Oh well, rereading all the books again and taking note of those with grey eyes, only Tony Hancock so far.
hmm has anyone noticed how hank has a habit of growling a lot, could hank actually be a shapeshifter ie a wolf and the sub/dom culture is not that far off the werewolf pack mentality which could be how Hank has got into the Bdsm culture in the first place. Though like the rest of you I think hes something else if not actually the darkest star another lesser god.
