What a wonderful image! Well, one thing for sure is that all new characters in Connie's books out as a chrysalis, there is no telling what will emerge.

I have a question: who do you think is the Shining Messenger sent to Hanlekidus Frebell? Koh'Ahmari are "only lesser in power than the One and the Three", so he was evidently commanded by either/or; the Messenger is using "we" all the time - "We have an assignment for you", so it looks like the Three; the Shining Messenger = the Shining Woman? Bree herself from the future? (OK, Belen is also shining from time to time; but will he say smth. like "WE have an assignment" to a Koh'Ahmari?) Or will the Mighty Mind be one more Shining one?

If as we suspect Hank is Frebell then it can't be Brea, hmmmm, unless she sent him to herself in the past, ok.... My head hurts.

It could be any of them, Ashe lights up and I am sure the Mind does as well.

If I was forced to guess I would say the Mind. But who knows....

Can't remember which book, maybe blood queen, when he used power to return memories to Tony and Gavin. He really hasn't used it to hide his identity that we know of for sure.

Brea only does it to hide her identity or when using power, any god nameless and above can actually do it. They all do it when using a lot of power.

I would be surprised if the three couldn't, when the weakest of the gods can. It's only light after all.....

Frebell calls the shining person "messenger"

I believe the powers that be are the messengers of the gods, that makes me think it was Thurlow.

Keep in mind my biased belief without proof that the mind is using Thurlow for jobs may be coloring this opinion.
