Bethan I think what Clare is saying if it turns out Hank isn't our favourite darkest star (and by the way connie has said he was her favourite character so I suspect she has big plans for him) then it's possible he's a secret rogue. though if he knew who/what Breanne why didn't he betray her to his bosses so there's a thought.
I don't think I've been clear at all about what I meant. I'll try agin to clarify, third time lucky!
As I understand it, the light and dark realms are merely titles and no indication of good/evil. The thing I don't understand is why the "bad guys are all "coincidentally" dark realm and if someone in the light realm does something bad they change to the dark realm. To me, that doesn't add up. If light/dark realms are just titles then why would the "bad" be dark? I say this as a rule, however there have been exceptions such as Cloudsong which was a light world and the Green Fae who were light, although neither of those were really evil and things happened or changed before it got too far.
I forget which book but it was stated that the dark realms only had Kifirin until Lissa came along so that is vastly in favour of the light. Even with the addition of Lissa to the dark realm the balance wasn't really helped as she is also light. I'm not saying that as things stand the dark realm still only has Kifirin but who else does it have and why this huge imbalance?
@Clare, I think we need Connie to answer, there are many levels between nameless and mighty, yet we know less than a handful that fit in those ranks. I personally think its we simply don't know them, there is balance for dark gods, we just haven't been introduced.
She has probably done this on purpose, keep it down to the key players in the god wars , there are enough secondary characters as it is, personally I don't want to be bogged down by a list of names and gods that have no relevance to the story and will simply bog it down if introduced.
As always, just my two cents....
@Robby, my initial feeling would be because he loves her, plus he knows she is the Vanaraszh, but probably has no clue she is a mighty, which might help him decide she isn't important enough to override his feelings and report it. Assuming of course he is the enemy, I actually don't feel that.
Clare is correct ... good / evil are NOT the same as light / dark ... as for the distribution of Nameless Ones you have to remember that Kifirin and Lissa are the only two that we have SEEN ... to say that those are the only two there ARE would be putting words into Connie's mouth ... not a good practice. I believe that the realms (light / dark) are balanced so I suspect there is much we have not seen.
