Well whatever happens or doesn't happen regarding Ashe's birth won't be for another 2 books at least lol, heck, we haven't even got book 3 and already we are curious about book 4 lol I must admit though, I would love to read how the whole shift council comes into being and how everyone came together in the town before the children were born. There seems to be a lot of intrigue there, specially when you consider elemayian aspect. We should get to see Winklers epic meltdown when he razes the house he bought for Lissa though, not to mention a few clashes with the Vampires when they forget her and the wolves haven't. Ohhh, we will get to find out why the wolves didn't forget too. I love this filling in the gaps thing.
While not a snippet Connie has just posted this status on Facebook:
Holy mind-blowing plot development, Batman!
Arghhhh i truly will never cope till August when things like this are posted.......wonder what it could be???

@Leena, That's right, I forgot that Lissa's house was still there, so Ashe's community should already be there? Where Brea was in the past I mean, and Ashe is getting ready to be born give or take a few years?
Not sure what you meant by that last part? 22 years ago? Compared to what?
Don't forget that Connie is currently giving us the story in parallel plot lines (Breanne's story, Lissa's story, Ashe's story, and so on). It is possible that we may not see any interaction between Bree and Winkler or young Ashe, and that snippet taken out of context is misleading us (again). And after what Connie has given us so far I hesitate to even imagine what she would consider a mind blowing plot development, but boy-oh-boy am I looking forward to it.
