No intention to beat on a dead horse, but I think this is relevent:
It seems worth the readers time to go through and note each of the mysterious notes and photos and such that appear, more numerously in Ashe's series, but in other places as well. ( i.e., How many times has Winkler gotten the a form od the "She Lives" note now, anyway?.)
Connie in fact seems to make a big deal out of this (i.e. taking Ashe to help Lissa get a drink from a vending machine)...these little connections/communications across time. So, I them ponder whether it was Brea or (someday) Kay who leaves the messages.
