I was really hoping someone was going to interfere with Kifirin when he stated he was going to isolate Reah but it seemed he did his worst. I would like him punished somehow by the gods above him. He also impregnates her twice without her knowing! I would send him to Evensun.

Garde has been clueless or unfeeling in the past but he really became a villain in this book. Jayd seemed to finally see what was happening but he is suppose to be the king -- 25 years and he is now figuring out who owns the gishi fruit trees that is getting them out of debt?

Wylend ends up giving the throne to Ry because of advice from Griffin. He could have warned Ry or Erland but just dumped it on them and left. What is it with these kings?

I was surprised how Darletta and Tory marriage ended. She just dumped him.

But the lost of memory for Tory plus all the other mates ignoring her for 25 years. It may have not been their fault but manipulated by Darletta or Kifirin but that is a lot of time for Reah to forgive and any love to remain.

I am really glad Ry ended up with Reah. I have been hoping for that.

I think we might see Bel in the next book. If he was killed by Reah on Cloudsong I think we would know that.

This book seems to have frayed a few nerves.

@ Jballaustin - I was referring to her roll as Queen of Thiskil, on Karathia the liaison job would be for the CSD. I think it would be a little bit of justice if she set Norian up in a non-heated one room shack on the North Pole of Thiskil for 30 years ...

I think Thiskil would thrive under Reah's leadership ... I mean seriously ... look at what she did for Kifirin working under a severe handicap.

Okay Kifirin - from what I have read it is 100% his fault that he slept for as long as he did ... man up, suck it up, and get over it ... he has no valid excuse to lay his screw ups at Reah's feet. In my opinion he owes Reah not only an apology but he should be ACTIVELY working to undo all his fuck-up's of Reah's life. By my count that's 200 turns of her mates undivided attention, 7 daughters to raise without interference, the removal of the greater demons "claiming marks", his eternal care as a father (the care as should be not the crap he has dished out so far). For starters.

Tory - Sorry he still needs to grow up ... getting chipped in no way excuses his previous abysmal behavior.

Wylend - I used to like Wylend ... /sigh.

Garde - If he wasn't Lissa's I would pull a Thurlow on him.
