I wondered when this was going to come up. :) I am not certain she has necessarily come to realize that she is in fact responsible for the whole Dark Realm yet.

Oh I think she realises hence her activities in the blood destiny series I think she just hasn't exercised those responsibilities/rights yet. Given her response to injustice in the past something has to be holding her back and the only thing I can think of is a higher power than herself. Remember the powers/gods are only prevented from direct interference with the "mortal" realm not with interfering/interacting with gods and demigods so may do so to ensure an outcome they desire.

I don't think it so much that Lissa doesn't know that she responsible for the dark realm, as much as she knows she lacks the experience to run it and the more likely answers is she doesn't have the time to take care of all of the dark realm after all she still has to run a planet :) While Kifirin has nothing better to do than to mess with people.

In rereading DR I noticed that in a conversation with Tory, Lissa explains that she was told she couldn't interfere that it had to play out at this point (I expect since Reah has to destroy the chip controllors or all hell will break loose). Maybe something can be done later but for now Lissa has been told hands off the situation. Since the Laurentii saw this coming they can't interfere but Nefrigar told Reah he could place the disruption device in her since it fell under "protecting his mate" even though he couldn't do anything else. I suspect he gets pretty frustrated at this point with what is going on and his inability to protect her more than he has.

Your right. I remember that passage now. However, still I would think she would still have done a little more. However, we don't know what they told Lissa to do in the extent of "non interference".

I agree Nefrigar was probably ready to chew iron nails.

Lol chew iron, I think he was ready to separate the particles of half the people in the last book. As for "non interference" Lissa never made that promise she can mess with things as much as she wants, only she doesn't because she learned from Griffin's actions, messing with how thing should be will cause even more problems later on(Wyatt's death, the destruction of Trell and losing his mate, all because he caused Toff to be taken instead of Wyatt). Kifirin needs to learn that lesson. Anyway the whole "non interference" seems more like a recommendation from the other gods she knows and because of her lack of experience she defers to their judgement.
