I agree Larry given her own history I am wondering if Bree has elevated Cori to the Pantheon of the Gods. There are now indications that Quin actually is Lirons daughter so may also be a god even if she isn't Cori which I am now quite happy to agree with. I agree with Larry Bree would not leave Cori vulnerable as the Laurentii are the most powerful of the created races I would think Bree would elevate Corrine above them so as to negate thier ability to pronounce judgment. After all Corinnes action actually resolved the problems that the RD drug was causing and corrected the timelines to what they should have been. In fact if you take into account Hanks dressing down of Matt Michaels she did the job he was supposed to do just maybe not quite the way it should have initially been done.
And Joe it's a pleasure to hear from you and can I join Larry and the others here in thanking you and Connie for all your hard work.
Random Thoughts:
I think that Bree is setting the timeline right with Illy and Corrine. They were supposed to be reborn Karathian Warlocks/Witches before the drug messed that up. They have a role to play in stopping a rebellion sometime later on Karathia . I'm pretty sure when Bree 'change what was' she was putting Corrine back to a Karathian as the daughter of the warlock that was in the coffin. The Larentii life hasn't happened yet for Corrine as Bree 'changed what was' on her replica body and being Larentti wouldn't be a help, as she wouldn't be able to interfere anyway. She will probably be a Q'elindi again also. I wonder if Bree made her a child, or left here as an adult? and did Bree leave her with any of her past memories or will she get a clean slate?
if the Coffin is the same one in Avii dungeon that Lissa pulled Bleek's son from, you would have thought that she would have mentioned that there was an old Warlock in stasis in there also...just saying.
It would be one hell of a surprise for the twins if they get the coffin open thinking one thing is in there and Corinne pops out.
The end was most exciting and enlightening as the conclusion of Gods Wars. I was literally saying: wow!, yes!, and oh shit!, and no way - out loud as I read the last part of the book.
I do think this will end the RD series (Unless Connie wants to give us more Opal ), but I think Illy and Cori will pick up in Quin's series as Karathian's.
Connie,
Thank you for another amazing story.
Got it on my mind to change my ways, but I don't think I can be anything other than me.
