You all DO realize that poor Corrine has been killed off FOUR times since she died twice before she received the RD drug twice and then she separated her particles on two incarnations of herself?
Am I the only one who has to laugh every time Rene COFFIN's name is mentioned since she's a vampire? Speaking of she here, who the heck IS she to have even survived the turn to being a vamp ire? As far as I know, the only females who were successfully turned in the last 1100 hundred years were Lissa and Bree (the last before Lissa was 700 years before she was turned and Rene was turned after Bree roughly 400 years later). Obviously, she could have been a comesula who are meant to be turned but that has yet to be specified.

Renee Coffin is a real person (that's her real name, too) who won a contest to get her name in one of my books. She turned into a recurring character. She is young as a vampire (less than 10 years). Lissa gave her blood to turn her, but she was fostered by Montrose and has no idea that Lissa made the turn so Montrose could court her after she became vampire

She has been through a lot. Maybe Cori and Ilya will get a happy every after in a future book as Karathian's (after they save the universe, of course)

I snicker at the irony of the name also.
Got it on my mind to change my ways, but I don't think I can be anything other than me.

Can we Kick Griffin around in one of the next books?
It would be funny if Griffin's own manipulations brought about his own death (in a spectacular way of course). Though it would need to be obvious that if he hadn't interfered that everything would have turned out alright... he just can't help himself

Thanks Connie!!! I knew all of that about Renee but could not help thinking that she had to be someone special since she was able to make the turn against terrible odds (1/25,000) and the only two who had been successfully turned are who they are (Love and Hope). I also knew about the name coming from a contest winner but still....it is sooo deliciously amusing every time I read it.
