The same argument you use against Destiny knowing ... applies to Cassie when viewed from the guys prospective ... again ... does that make it right? No.

You are more than welcome to disagree with me ... lol. One viewpoint gets boring real quick :-).

It really doesn't though. Cassie is an adult and in the fight. Destiny isn't, that's what makes it very different. It's like saying the army not teaching a soldier how to use a rifle is the same as not teaching the soldier's young teenage sister how to use it. In a way it's worse than my example, Cassie is like a colonel leading a states worth of troops, without any information. The difference between the two is glaring and not comparable in any way... IMO anyway.

I agree with the disagreeing part, that's what makes sharing opinions on here fun. If we all agreed, there'd be no point. Except of course to show our support to Connie.... She's an evil genius, and I mean that in a good way.

All that said, Destiny should have been kept in the loop about her family if nothing else.

Information is not a rifle ... it's much more important than that ... lol.

Destiny has already proven herself as a warrior during the Christmas war. Keeping her uninformed in a disservice to not only Destiny, but the ones leaving her uninformed. She already told Parke that he was being not only a bad husband but a bad Chancellor as well ... does that seem like a mind to waste by not using it? Should Destiny be on the front lines? Of course not, but do ensure that she knows enough to ensure her own safety and can help keep others safe.

That's it for me tonight ... have a good one.

I thought I had in my mind the people I liked and disliked until the end. I really like Rob and thought he was standing up for Cassie but then he knew about the need to sacrifice Cassie in the end and did nothing about it. I was really surprised on that one. So he should suffer greatly in the next books ;)

Parke is not much of a leader in my opinion. He reminds me of Jayson (who turned into Matt Michaels) in some ways. Other ways he reminds me of Gavin (expects to be obeyed) but he is also easily manipulated by other people, like his mother. I don't like Parke's mother. It crossed my mind at one point in time whether or not he had some type of mind control. But I think he is just too inexperience and do not have any instinctive leadership qualities. So I see him being a weak link in this battle.

The group of characters and species are interesting -- sprites and demons along with werewolves, shifters and vampires.

I agree that Cassie ending up in New Orleans is a peek into the next book. I hope she ends up going on her own or with a small amount of help from friends like Cliff, etc and not from Parke.

I'm not sure that Morton and Dalton are still in the Big Easy ... I believe they continued running with Daniel on their tails. I think Cassie will end up chasing those two down to deliver her own brand of ass kicking.

I think Daniel got called back and is no longer chasing them. I seem to remember something about him being mad about it.

I find it interesting that Rob pushed so hard to have Cassie made Princess when he knew that she would likely be sacrificed at some point. Was it just to keep her close or was there another motive? All the sprite royalties gave her a gift; was it a pre-emptive thank you for her unknowing sacrifice, was it because they felt guilty or did it have something to do with keeping her alive? Will was surprised that Cassie burned for 2 days and this gave him the opportunity to save her (did the sprite gifts help her burn longer or is she just more powerful than those previous fire demons?). I do remember that people seemed surprised at how quick she could turn herself into her full fire demon.

Does anyone else wonder if Lissa's Earth is Earth 1, 2, or 3? It might even be Earth 5, the one that is being destroyed. This would be a way to tie it into Connie's previous universe and we do know that Griffin said once that there were multiple universes. I bet Lexsi and Cassie would get along well and Cassie needs some female friends. When Will thought that others would help him destroy the bridges connecting the Earths, my first thought was the Mighty. I know that Connie initially said that this series was unconnected to her previous series but who is to say that she didn't change her mind?
