Random thought while reading another post. How about if Teeg is Salidar from Legend of the Ir'Indicti! I'm excessively excited by the possibility but have nothing to base it on!
Interesting idea, but I have doubts. Salidar is a werewolf, somehow I get the idea that crossing the two races would be a very bad idea ... a vampire allergic to his / her own saliva that turns furry every full moon then has to regurgitate whatever was caught?? Makes Lissa's transformation look like a cakewalk ...
If we are going to speculate how does this sound -
1) Teeg exhibits a lot of vampire behavior. (nipping / sleeping covering mate / compulsion? / claws? / misting?)
2) Day walker (Saa Thalarr / Spawn hunter only (so far))
As far as we know only vampires that have been given the gift of blood from Saa Thalarr / spawn hunters can walk in daylight and eat normal food. If Teeg is one of these vampires it would be safe to assume that he will do right by Reah as his mate, otherwise there is that more than slightly pesky rule about interference. Every aberration in Demon Revealed can be attributed to Teeg if you look at him as quarter blood Elemalya vampire mister with Saa Thalarr blood.
Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.
Keep in mind we have no proof Teeg was the one that sliced up that one guy or that did the misting with Reah. So he have nothing to do with the vampire group.
I was rereading a bit of vendetta, and I had a disturbing thought that Teeg may be Wlodek ; where wlodek is described as being dark haired, with darker eyes by gavin (para). I don't know if anyone suggested him yet. It was disturbing because we have only seen wlodek with any emotion only a handful of times. His height might throw a wrench in this?? Please forgive the rambling could he also be aeden that could fix the height issue??

I wonder if Teeg is Tony. If we assume that Teeg is pushing Reah away from a dangerous situation, what we have is a deep cover agent working himself into a drug cartel to (possibly) take it down from the inside. Just the thing for a former homeland security director turned Vampire enforcer. Incredibly handsome, from earth, charming, persuasive. Yep!
