Welcome!! I doubt Teeg is Tony (or any of Lissa's mates) as Tory and Ry would be almost certain to recognize their Uncles. An Earth vampire could be correct, we will have to wait to see :-).

Yes, he must be an earth vampire, possibly American, he uses the same language as Lissa.

In the days BC (before Connie) the greatest author of fantasy was John Bunyan. My favourite is 'The Holy War'. You can find it free on Gutenberg.

If Teeg is a vampire from Earth (and the evidence seems to be leading us that way) then how is he not known to Wlodeck or Flavio because he seems to have misting abilities and we know from previous books that there are only two misters that are known and they are Henry and Gervais, we were also told that no new talent had been found since Tony was turned.
If he was a baddie and not registered with Earths vampires then why would Kifirin have brought him from Earth with the rest of the vampires and not destroyed him, unless he found a way to leave Earth before the rest of the of them! I think there is a lot more to Teeg that hopefully we will find out in the next book.

You do realize we are using a LOT of conjecture here? For all we know Teeg could be a fully human slime on par with Norian / Lendill ... a few thing to consider.

1) Werewolves tend to hold their mates and nip if they try to get away while sleeping (not the same as vampires).
2) American slang ... how long did it take Reah to pick it up? You don't have to be from Earth to use American slang.
3) Possibly an adopted child of one of the Earth vampires.
4) Teeg has not directly shown any power / abilities ... knowing what Reah was thinking is not difficult for someone that knows her well ... due to her upbringing her natural responses are a little limited right now.
5) Teeg could be a whole new race or someone with no ties whatsoever to any current character.

What makes these discussions so interesting and thought provoking is everyone taking a stab at trying to outguess Connie, but keep in mind anything we guess is not a proven fact ... we could all be wrong.

Mouse - How many misters did Saxom / Xendies get past the council? As for not registering with the council ... honestly, I would be hard pressed to condemn anyone for that without additional cause (failing of mine I guess /shrug).

Severndust - What werewolf behavior(s) do you see? Please share details ... we like details ... lol.

With that said, I still stand by my guess (-: {I had to play Devil's Advocate again /sigh ... someone else's turn next time.}
