Who is Teeg?

Things we KNOW about Teeg -
1) Walks in daylight.
2) Tall, dark hair, good looking.
3) Growls like a vampire.
4) Covers Reah like a vampire protecting a mate.
5) Very good with construction.
6) Has not displayed ANY abilities.
7) No record with the ASD.
8 ) Cleaning up Campiaa.

Things we are GUESSING at
1) Compulsion
2) Mind reading
3) Misting
4) Claws
5) Change appearance

Okay I am going to throw a few of my ideas in the ring,

1) Could Teeg be a child of one of the other Saa Thalar?
2) Teeg pushing Reah away to keep her safe (yes I agree with FrazzledHaloz).
3) One of the mighty ... doubtful ... they seem to spend most of their time elsewhere.
4) When Teeg took over Campiaa that was a 180 degree turn from what he was doing prior to that point ... what do we know that can cause that?
5) Reah can see through spells so I believe her description of Teeg is true,

Adding to what we know:

9) Teeg likes to nip, and Reah likes it when he does (like a vampire)
10) he is extremely protective and was from first meeting Reah (like mate recognition)
11) he is a snowboard fanatic (not unlike some spawn hunters we know)

I did not think about it before, but he could be a child of one of the other Saa Thalaar. He can't be 100% vampire because he has been in daylight. I think werewolves also protect their mates while sleeping.

Reah seems to have had M'Fiyah with Teeg so I think that makes him immortal or he can live for a very long time.

He does seem to know when Reah is in trouble. He was very quick near the end when Wilffin was drunk and forced his way into Reah's room. That can be due to M'Fiyah or something else?

I do agree that maybe he charmed or manipulated Arvil. It does seem strange that Arvil ends up bringing Teeg along just to keep Reah company and then making them heirs.

Since Reah can tell when people lie to her, Teeg must be telling the truth when he stated he loved her.

I am also hoping he pushed her away to keep her safe but will have to wait to see.

Good summary! now we have to wait a couple months to find out more data. argh!

At Kindle location 3025 Norian says "...we may find out who the Alliance double agent is..." Surely, this is Teeg.

At the end of the book, when Teeg reveals Reah's identity and denies that he loves her, he is standing with the warlocks and Farzi and brothers. Did he say these nasty things to Reah in order to create a cover for himself, and convince her to go home out of danger?
I think so.

Possible. I reread that last Teeg scene. At no time did he say he did not love her. Pretty much the statements he made were factual, although delivered in a cruel voice (acting?). He is now the heir per records. Why he took the Farzi brothers? Possible same to help with a cover? or to keep them from alliance also as Reah intended? Things to think about.
