In total agreement there. One of the main reasons I love her writing so much is because it's unpredictable, and keeps me totally enthralled. Any and most foreshadowing happens 3 or 4 books in advance, so when something big is revealed it's down right mind boggling.
If you don't have a sense of humor, then you have no sense at all.
Yes, I must admit that is something I also enjoy about her writing style. She leaves it just long enough for you to have forgotten or dismissed, much like the whole Jayson thing. Maximum impact. Hrm, that reminds me of something actually. The Elf assistant that was sent off to acquaint himself with his mates, was it Willem or something like that? Now that will definitely have some later significance.
If I am absolutely honest, I don't care as long as there will be more of books surrounding this universe and its characters. I'd love to read Radomir's story some time, not to mention Auri's, I think that would be very interesting. Auri is one of the nicest characters in my opinion.
The Saa Thalarr series ... I believe several books have been mentioned, if I remember correctly the term "dozen" has been used. There has also been mentioned a book about Reah's daughter, I am sure we have not seen the last of this universe or these characters.
We may see a new universe or more but I have no doubt the rich background, storytelling, gordian plot twists, and cliffhangers will follow ... I'll keep on reading
Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.
