I think the comment on Cheedas was just a reinforcement that since he tried to kill Lissa and can remember it all he is an empty shell. I really don't think there is anything more sinister than that. As to Tybus being Lissa's father from a previous life, well I think that could work extremely well. It means that they still have a strong, if not stronger bond to one another.The scary part is giving birth to your own Father...

@Kellilee sadly we don't know that because although that is the description of the Mighty Mind, there was a strong clue there that he does not always look like that so we may well know who it is but they look different. It seems that Bree amongst some others can see through these types of disguises though so that must mean that it is still someone she has not met. Has she met Lendill, or Trik?

Here is a couple of thoughts

1. Someone has pointed out to me that Ashe is also Breannes great uncle curtesy of griffins mother. So the attraction we've been interpretating as signs of Ashe being a possible mate for Brea, might possibly be Breanne subconsciously recognising this fact or may be something to do with the fact that they are both Mighty Ones and are recognising this at a primal level

2. A thought that occurred to me whilst writing for another thread we know that Connie is well capable of throwing out red herrings. I was wondering about Tybus and the mighty mind we had all ruled teeg/gavril out as the mighty mind as connie had already stated non of lissa's children were the mighty but now technically Tybus/teeg 2.0 as we are now calling him is not her son (oh my head is beginning to throb) so is it not at least possible that tybus is the mighty mind. Connie threw us a curve ball in making lissa's half sister Love why not the father of her previous incarnation Wisdom. I know Connie had said at the greet and meet that we had already met Wisdom in an earlier book and after a fashion we had with Tybus when he was mentioned by Kifrin when he was first showing Lissa Kifrin's palace and told her who designed it.

@robbytonk Im pretty sure a while back on facebook someone commented that it was odd that Bree seemed attracted to Ashe and Connie replied that there was no family link at all between them. Ashe is only Lissas uncle through her mother.

As for Tybys reaction to finding out Lissa is the reincarnation of his daughter i think there wasn't anything sinister in it. More than likely he's been brought back and is being forced to live someone else's life, worrying that people will resent him for being the reason for Teegs death. (Even though its not his fault).
Then to find out that he has a second chance at life and with his daughter must make it more worthwhile. Let's not forget either that as Tybus he was given the option of going to the high demon planet with the comesula but he chose to stay with his daughter and fight.
