Thanks kellilee - immediately thought it was Cory after she got the letter from Wylend, never thought about Teeg. Guess I kinda put Wyland and Cory together and didn't think of anyone else.
has anyone else noticed the way dee refers to reah? he calls her at one time "our reah" than he says "we will see that reahs children are cared for" like he will step in and help. is dee gonna become a mate also or is he just speaking for teeg?
Severndust & JeanneM- I don't know where I posted it but I was wondering if Dee could be the Kos Mahri guy from the end of the book. He's sent back to learn about both light & dark races. Since his power is one rank below the The Mighty 3 he could mask who he truly is with Kifirin. Why did Kifirin chose Dee to take Gavril to and to build a restaurant for Reah?
Is it possible that Keetha (Radolf's mom) put the mind cloud thing on Wylend? I doubt she had the power (before Wylend removed it) but she just took off and we don't know what happened with her. I've gotta say, she doesn't seem like the type of person to drop it. My guess is she went out to find powerful help in going after Karathia & Reah.
Many times in the Blood Destiny books we hear that Karathias being half on the light and half on the dark universes causes some Karathians to go dark. Perhaps we'll see that happen.
After reading Demon's Quest for a second time I realized that Tory was never really a great mate. I struggle to come up with any times he was there for her or happy times between he and Reah. How did Lissa's son turn out to be such a moron??
The "long-dead race" that somehow resurfaced seems to sound like the Ra'ak at the end Blood Reunions race. Didn't he say he placed an obsession on someone on Le Ath Veronis? I wonder if that died when he died.
For the first three books Reah was at the mercy of the ASD, so she probably was not in a position that would have allowed her mates to provide support. The ASD not only sent Reah out undercover they also denied her the right to wear Auri's ring while on assignment. The ASD seems to have a policy of divorcing their agents "work" lives from their "private" /cough lives.
This type of behavior tends to isolate the "agent" from any "civilian" support structure. In real life it would also lead to a very high divorce rate.
Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.
