Okay, first off...Quin, no healing Griffin dang it! Yes, I don't like him but as the meddlesome meddler he is one of those good guy characters that everyone loves to hate. What am I suppose to do if another hateful good guy gets healed out of being a jerk? I'm running out of good guys to actively dislike and am getting tired of feeling like I should forgive them their heartlessness even when I don't want to just because we later find out about extenuating circumstance. Also, does this mean that one of the ones I like will become overbearing and a jerk? Unfortunately, I can see Justis going in that direction.

Anyone figure out what Terrett's gift was? The only thing I could think it might be is folding space but if so why warn him to use it wisely unless Lissa is afraid he would use it to go off on his own.

And did anyone else wonder about those glass orbs? Perhaps they could contain the poison creatures. And why a room full of them? Quin seems to be able to Call anything to her so maybe she can Call the creatures and then with the orb trap them into the balls.

That reminds me, what is up with the orb? It seems to be more malevolent this time around. Before, it seemed to be more neutral in its actions except in its apparent desire to protect Quin. While reading Keeper I started to think that maybe the original orb had been replaced by Bree as a way to watch over Quin but well, obviously I was wrong. Now I'm back to thinking that Liron may have somehow transferred part of himself into the orb.

One last thing before I go off to read something else, the drug Lyristoyli sounds an a lot like the one in RD regarding making clones with it. Does thismean we may see Cori in this series or perhaps Quin in RD?

Yeah, you know there has to be another one and not just because of the first ordinance. We now have Zombie Cayetes, the twins and also whatever history/problem they have with the current ruling line on the warlock planet (I can't remember what it's called much less how to spell it, lol) to deal with. Plus whatever is hidden inside that glass coffin. On a side note, did anyone else think of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves when they read the description of that case?

There was a question I wanted answered, too. I knew, just by reading Terrett, that most of his kind could do what Kaldill and others could do-fold space. He knew that, but didn't know why he couldn't. I had suspicions as to why that was, but didn't want to voice my speculations. He'd been hurt badly enough by his mother already.

Suttle, Connie (2015-02-26). BlackWing: First Ordinance, Book 3 (Kindle Locations 509-511). SubtleDemon Publishing, LLC. Kindle Edition.

I believe Terrett mother put a controller in his shoulder that blocking his folding space ability so that he couldn't escape his captors.

They also need to deal with the poison, which I believe will be simple enough based on the clues in the book. Not sure if I should post my idea on that, but yeah, lots of room for another two or three books.

I had thought that perhaps Lissa's gift to Terrett may be the ability to use his voice once and only once. An obsession placed by one of the good guys could get them out of a cliffhanger scenario.

My first thought when i read that line about Terrett, was his mother has placed an obsession on Terrett so he wouldn't be able to fold space after the rotten bitch had let his tongue be cut out. (Don't know if a Serenali can place obsession on another). And I would love for Terrett to be completely healed cause so far he is a real sweety.
Jade I really have to agree with you there about Griffin - yeah damaged, yeah ill BUT he did so much harm to so many people using and abusing his children (all of them) that I don't have it in me. For me the perfect scenario for him would be to die saving others or in some other helpful way then be reborn to a loving family.
The orb does seem to be downright vicious in this book throwing Quin into the deep end with no notice and telling her to kill, makes me wonder why the people were planted on Siriaa and why the Orb is protecting them now after the fact.
