JD - where in the time line is the cloud books? We know after the God wars cause Opal and Matt are gods but is it after Ashe takes every one to Avendor? I know this is on the wrong board but I was reading them again after the new Quinn book lol

Ladydear - I haven't been able to pin down the timeline for the RD series. I am pretty sure it's in the past, but in the new timeline that Bree (Love) had to patch up after the God Wars. I am thinking its maybe post Ashe's books as Matt Michaels hasn't been mentioned and Davis Stone is still alive and a Pack Master.
The curious part is that Opal's past is probably being re-written because of the God Wars. Ashe commented "This isn't how I met Opal in the past" or something close to that. She went to the future was made a god, but then probably had to come back to help with fixing the timeline. This maybe part of that, so it could still be around Ashe's time on earth, and Matt Michaels just isn't involved. Though in GW's Matt went to the future with Opal too.
Corrine was collected by Kalenegar, which means that she was taken into the future probably as Kalenegar was a loner and being an ass up until the end of the GW books.
Connie can place the books most anywhere because of the GW's books and the timeline being reconstructed.
I am hoping for some more time clues/references in the next book, unless Connie if forthcoming with a time period for the books.
Got it on my mind to change my ways, but I don't think I can be anything other than me.
- The Pretty Reckless "Light Me Up"
It does suit me, doesn't it? Dorgus says the same.
Dorgus is "quite particular", so you know it to be true, Whip said.
What do you think? Do Dorgus and Vardil have a sexual relationship?
And why cant that fool dress himself?
"Someone once said a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters could reproduce the works of Shakespeare.
The internet has proven that this is not true."
RKET, I noticed throughout the book that Vardil was really particular about what he looked like and really liked the one body's look and they started to clone it. At the time I thought we would be surprised that the 'body' would turn out to be someone we already know. But Griffin saw his clones and did not make any comments.
I also thought they might be lovers -- hard to tell. I have not read it a second time yet.
One other comment about the book that does not apply to anything else here is that I really liked Bel and his relationship with Lissa (or Gran). I especially like the comment (along with the pirate comments) about MRE and Bel trying to figure out the initials in Alliance common rather than 'Old Earth'.
I actually liked Caytes as a drooling zombie hehe I hope he stays that way then the twins would have to do something else to get the coffin open. Lol I kinda get the urge to say " Twin powers activate" when I think of the twins lol I know I am probably dating myself.
RKET you raise a valid question with why that fool Cayetes can't dress himself, although I imagine that being in a new body every three or so days would be very disorientating. Another question is how does some fool who can't even dress himself head an evil empire? In a universe with hands-on gods and other powerful beings Cayetes' only powers seem to be a bottomless supply of funds and an ability to throw truly spectacular temper tantrums.
